Areas of work

• Promote connectivity between municipalities that share the responsibility for conserving a protected area, with different levels of government and civil society, for biodiversity conservation and sustainable natural resource management.
• Increase management training for municipal governments present in the protected areas to convert environmental conservation needs into strategic and operative actions.
• Promote decentralization of municipal environmental management favoring participation by grassroots organizations in decision-making processes.
