Areas of work

• Applies and adopts new methodological focuses for conservation planning at the regional level and the site level considering social, economic, and environmental aspects.
• Promotes the inclusion of conservation planning in "traditional" land use planning tools, like: Municipal Land Use Plans, Departamental Land Use Plans, Plans for the Integral Management of Basins, PDMs, Departmental PDP).
• Evaluates the effectiveness of biodiversity conservation actions in priority sites in which they are carried out.
